1. Burjis Sutaria from J.N Petit technical boarding school in Poona(Pune) I was in school with him from around 1970 - 1974 in primary grades. He was a quiet boy and I think he wore glasses.
2. Hirji Gorimar - I was in 11th grade Junior college with Hirji Gorimar at Charni road Byramjee JeeJeebhoy High school Bombay. He used to live near Charni road just a corner building where the road leads to a Masjid going to Metro cinema.

His parents were Soli and Rhoda, and he had a sister called Goolu and brother Darius. Adi grew up in Pune but I believe my mother, not a Parsi, met him in Goa or Bombay. He disappeared around 1983/4, we think in Bombay. Efforts were made by the family to try and locate him but no one knew what had happened to him. SOLVED? (May 15, 2013) Dear Laila: I was living in the same bungalow, different section, as neighbor of oli/Rhoda/Dara/Gulu/Adi Cama in the 1950’s at 615 Sachapir Street, Poona. My name is Aspy Khambatta and Live in U.S.A. since 1964 by God’s Grace. Camas were a fine Family and later Rhoda was quite sick and Gulu married a Poona Parsi boy. Dara studied at Wadia College and migrated to U.K. I do not know if Soli and Rhoda are still living. Adi continues to be missing and his disappearance remains a mystery. He did want to be an actor in Bollywood. Sorry I do not know his whereabouts so This case in a sense remains open.

You say Adi Cama is your father, I did not know that Adi had a family. If there is anything I can do please let me know.

Dordi was the navigator in a famous crash of a Vultee Vengeance piloted by Edulji Hormusjee Dadabhoy, my granduncle, in which Dadabhoy was killed but Dordi survived the parachute descent, and days trekking back across from the enemy lines. He also dabbled in shrimp farming near his home town in Mangalore. His father was a helicopter pilot for the Kudremukh iron ore company. The last I heard was he was studying anthropology. Case #509 (Posted December 25, 2012) Hello, I am trying to find any information such as contact information, of an old friend, Lily Maneckji. I met her in 1991 while visiting Mumbai on a Fulbright. She taught at the JP Petit School for Girls. She befriended me and was a great help to me during my stay, especially while I was very ill with Typhoid. Present age: 50-60? Regretably I have never been able to contact her since then, and her presence still occupies my memory. He was a lawyer and some of his relatives kept a cake shop in Mumbai. I know this as they used to send a cake to his english wife every christmas until the last world war. I had a dear friend Cyrus Karbhari, who did his diploma in auto engg with me. He used to live long time back at Forjett Hill till his father was alive. (his father worked with a bearing company in Thane if I remember correctly) His sister and his mother used to live in Tardeo (his sister was the compere for English songs on All India Radio. The last I met him, about 7 years ago, he lived in a colony (parsi I think) in worli. This is a road opposite century bazaar. He had a bypass surgery and is married to a doctor and has a daughter. He is short statured and has a moustache. He used to work with a car dealership in the service department. I shall be highly obliged if you could help me in finding him. She had come from Vasda town & She used to stay in Parsi Sanatorium in Colaba Bombay and studied in Avaabai Petit School in Bandra (1974 batch). She was good hockey player too. I am now settled in kolkata India. I am searching for Niloufer Tankariwala. She was a close friend of mine at school. Her father was in tea industry in Assam, like my father. Niloufer's dad worked with Tata Tea. I do not remember his name today. Niloufer and i first met in school. We went to LITTLE FLOWER SCHOOL- DIBRUGARH, ASSAM. We were 1984/85 batch. In the early1980's we both lost touch. I however used to live in the boarding of the school. Our common friends were Bobby Dutta. Who passed away long back. Rita Varghese was another common friend. She too has lost contact with Niloufer. All i know is Niloufer is living in Germany now. Married i suppose. I know she had an older brother.
